About Laurel Glickman, LCSW
Laurel Glickman, LCSW has been in the social work profession for over 20 years. Most of this time has been spent in hospice care, and working with patients and families as they face challenging decisions about illness, quality of life and their own values. She has been with the CBCI team for the last three years. Medical social work has been a passion of Laurel’s even to her own surprise, since she first started her practice back in 2001. Working with people at such a critical time in their lives is something she views as a privilege. To create a slightly softer space for people during such a hard time, and to partner with people as they face the challenges of illness and how this shapes and defines their lives is truly an honor. Laurel is grateful to be able to practice with such a caring team, both inpatient and outpatient, and to serve patients with such diverse backgrounds and wide ranges of experience. When not working, Laurel enjoys time outdoors with family and friends, watching birds and learning about aromatherapy.
