Housing support
Your transplant coordinator will discuss your housing needs during the transplant. If the distance from your home to CBCI does not meet program requirements, alternate housing will be required. The cost of this housing may be covered by your insurance. However, if it is not, this will be your financial responsibility. Our housing coordinator will work with you on your options and help you secure local housing.

A clean home is essential to prevent infection before and after transplant. Cleaning for a Reason is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a clean environment to individuals going through cancer treatment.
Who qualifies for the service?
Any cancer patient — including women, men or children — undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.
What does the service entail?
Once approved, a patient receives two general house cleanings, i.e., one cleaning per month for up to two months.
How do cancer patients apply?
Patients may apply for services at cleaningforareason.org
May I apply for someone else?
Yes! The application requires a patient's name, email, home address, and phone number. If the patient does not have an email, please use patientname@c4r.org (use the actual patient's name).
At any time, you can check on the STATUS OF YOUR APPLICATION at cleaningforareason.org, Patients tab just using the email address submitted with your application.
For questions, please contact patientadvocate@cleaningforareason.org.
